The Tikva Group
Our Story
From a home kitchen in Accra to a food and lifestyle group with global ambitions.

How It Started
Born from a Conviction
Tikva Group was founded in 2020 by Nana Hemaa Bamfo with a simple but powerful conviction: that Africa’s culinary heritage, natural ingredients, and entrepreneurial energy represent an untapped force in the world.
What began as a small-scale homemade treats business in Accra has grown into a diversified food and lifestyle group serving retail customers, hotels, cafes, and institutions across Ghana. Every product is still made with the same care and intention as the very first batch.
Tikva is the Hebrew word for hope. It is the word that sits at the heart of everything we do.

What Drives Us
Vision & Mission
Our Vision
To become a leading food and lifestyle powerhouse, exporting premium African products to global markets and establishing the continent as a source of world-class consumer brands.
Our Mission
To deliver high-quality artisanal foods that delight consumers, empower entrepreneurs through skills-based training, and build globally competitive African consumer brands that generate lasting economic value.
Quality Without Compromise
Every product leaves our kitchen meeting one standard: the best we can make. No shortcuts, no fillers, no second-rate ingredients.
Rooted in Africa
Our flavours, ingredients, and spirit are unapologetically African. We celebrate what Ghana and the continent have to offer the world.
Empowering People
Through Tikva Academy we train bakers, food entrepreneurs and small business owners. We believe in building people, not just products.
Faith & Purpose
Tikva means hope. Everything we do is grounded in a belief that food, when made with intention, carries something greater than flavour.
Tikva Academy
We Teach, We Inspire, We Build
Tikva Academy is the heart of our community mission. Through hands-on workshops for kids and adults, professional cake decorating courses, and food business fundamentals, we equip people with the skills to build livelihoods in food.
Every class we run is a step toward a stronger, more skilled food economy in Ghana and beyond.
